Admission Fee Changes for entrance to Kairakuen

As of November 1st, entrance to Kairakuen will require paid admission.

Entrance fees will be used to maintain Kairakuen as a historical landmark, and to continue to improve the park as a tourist destination for all to enjoy. We hope you enjoy experiencing the beauty of the four seasons at this Japanese garden.

Admission Fees

Individual

Adult (15 years old and above) Children (14 years old and below)
¥300 ¥150

Groups (20 people or more)

Adult (15 years old and above) Children (14 years old and below)
¥230 ¥120

・Admission fees are the same from opening until the park closes at 21:00.
・Admission is half price for visitors above 70 years old.
・Admission is free for visitors who meet any of the following criteria:
・1. Persons receiving welfare support (生活保護).
・2. Persons with a Disabled Persons Certificate (障碍者手帳). Includes entrance for one carer.
・3. Persons with a certificate proving they are receiving financial support for medical expenses relating to an incurable disease (指定難病医療費受給者証). Includes entrance for one carer.
・Area covered by the admission fee: all of Kairakuen Park.
