Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum (Kasama City)
This museum was the first museum in East Japan to focus on the ceramic arts.
Permanent exhibits include works by masters of Japanese ceramics such as Hazan Itaya and Kosei Matsui and the museum also hosts a wide range of special exhibits from around the world.

By public transport: around 5 minutes by taxi from Kasama Station on the JR Mito Line or 20 minutes by taxi from Tomobe Station on the JR Joban Line. Alternatively, around 25 minutes walk from Kasama Station.
