A 50m high actual-size model of an H-Ⅱ type rocket welcomes visitors to Tsukuba Expo Centre. 

See the night sky in all its glory on a 25.6m diameter dome at the newly renovated state-of-the-art planetarium, or learn about the universe, the deep sea or different forms of energy through interactive exhibitions. 

The centre also hosts special science shows and classes.

  CLOSED Closed Mondays (open Monday and closed Tuesday in the event that Monday is a National Holiday. Closed the last Tuesday every month. Closed for New Year December 27th - January 3rd.
