Izura Hotel (Kitaibaraki City)
Situated near Rokkakudo on the spectacular Izura Coast, Izura Hotel consists of a main building, the Japanese-style ‘Honkan’, and the annex building ‘Taikanso’. The special guest room features designs reassembled from famous artist Okakura Tenshin’s residence in Izura.
Both the main building and annex feature onsen (hot spring) bathing, including Taikan-no-Yu which offers guests a luxury bathing experience. It is also possible to visit the hot springs without staying overnight as a day guest.
Thanks to its coastal location, Izura Hotel is renowned for its fresh seafood and shellfish dishes. During the winter, anglerfish dishes such as anglerfish hotpot are a particular speciality.
