Kokai River Park & Poppy Fields (Shimotsuma City)

This riverside is split into fours zones; the Nature Observation Zone, Sports Zone, Nature Centre and Flower Zone.

Kokai River is most famous for the fields of poppies which bloom from mid-May onwards. More than 2 million poppies fill the park with colour with the distinctive twin peaks of Mount Tsukuba forming a stunning backdrop.

There are also a range of activities such as park golf and cycling available around the park.

This spot has been added into “My Plan“
