Ryujin Big Suspension Bridge (Ryujin Gorge)
The view of a school of carp streamers fluttering in the refreshing wind is so impressive! The carp streamers were presents from all over Japan. Please enjoy the beautiful scene only seen in May, surrounded by rich nature in the mountains.
Ryujin Big Suspension is 375 meters long and 100 meters high from the dam lake surface. The bridge was carefully designed as a very strong one, where even nearly 3,500 visitors can cross at the same time. The method of construction is adopted for strong winds and the parallel-wire-cables are used. So, this is one of the solidest pedestrian bridges in Japan.
*Please note that the bridge might be temporarily closed in case of bad weather such as strong winds and lightning.
