Mount Tsukuba Edoya Inn (Tsukuba City)
Located in front of Mount Tsukuba Shrine, Edoya is a ryokan or traditional Japanese-style inn. Thanks to its location, the inn is popular with visitors to the shrine and hikers. The open-air hot spring at Edoya uses fresh spring water from sugi no mizu (Cedar Spring), said to promote healthy skin. The spring water is also used to make the inn’s original brand of sake.
