Exports of sake have been increasing every year. Sake is becoming more and more popular all over the world. There are many sake breweries in Ibaraki prefecture, and you will visit three of them and compare the taste of different types of sake.

This shrine has long attracted pilgrims and It is believed to be good for the safety of the family, prosperity of business, money, and matchmaking. Please try the speciality food from here which is soba Inari and Karinto-Manjyu(traditional Japanese confection).

Sasamesobei Brewery
Spend 15 minutes here
Located just outside the entrance to Kasama Inari Shrine, this brewery is known for their sake brand ‘Matsu Midori’. You can visit the inside of the brewery.

Have lunch at this café housed on the 2nd floor of a greengrocer where vegetables are served as a main meal. Lotus root hamburg is recommended.

The brewery has been operating for over 150 years. Sample some of this brewery’s ‘Inasato’ sake brand, known for maintaining the original flavour and fragrance of the rice.

There is a gallery and a brewery used for events, and it is also used for other purposes besides the sake brewing. We recommend their refreshing Junmai sake(pure-rice sake), which goes well with any kind of cuisine.
